Belfort Furniture offers our highly-rated Platinum flat-rate delivery services in the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area. Our Platinum Flat-Rate Delivery service includes delivery, installation, assembly and placement in your room of choice. Our professionally trained personnel inspects, preps, assembles and places your furniture in your room of choice.

Our service includes:

  • Professionally trained staff

  • Merchandise is inspected, deluxed and prepped prior to delivery

  • Complete assembly, set-up and placement in room

  • Removal of debris

  • We offer a one-hour call-ahead upon request

Furniture Delivery Policies

  • All merchandise must be paid in full two (2) days prior to delivery. No CODs are accepted.

  • Our distribution center will confirm your delivery date 24 hours prior to delivery - at the time of this call they will provide you with a three-hour window timeframe for your delivery.

  • Please understand that some circumstances beyond our control, such as poor weather conditions and traffic jams, can delay delivery time frames. In these rare cases we will do our best to contact you with an updated delivery timeframe.

  • Please keep in mind that we deliver furniture to hundreds of homes each week. In order to serve all of our customers fairly, we request 48 hours notice to make a change in your delivery appointment. If you cancel a delivery less than 48 hours before its scheduled delivery we will charge a handling fee equal to delivery charge. A rescheduling fee may also be imposed if no one is home to accept a confirmed delivery or accompany the driver into the home.

  • Belfort Furniture will make deliveries during inclement weather. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel any and all deliveries at any time to protect the safety of our employees.

  • Please note: Due to insurance limitations, drivers are not allowed to assemble cribs, handle televisions, stereos or other electronic devices, nor can they install mirrors, paintings or other items that require fastening to walls.

  • Customer is responsible for verifying building access and ensuring furniture will fit through doorways, stairways and elevators. If a delivery attempt is made and the furniture does not fit, the delivery fee will be charged to your account and Belfort will apply the cancellation policy to the order. Special order merchandise cannot be cancelled. A third party technician can provide a service to disassemble and reassemble the items to fit into the appropriate room at an additional charge.

  • Belfort reserves the right to require you to sign a delivery waiver if we believe that delivering your furniture may damage either the furniture or your home. Refusal to sign the waiver, when required, will be considered a ‘no-fit' and the order may be subject to our cancellation policy.

  • Belfort Furniture is not responsible for the moving or removal of existing furniture in a customer's home. The area for placement of furniture should be clear and prepared to receive the delivery.

  • Carefully inspect your merchandise at the time of delivery. Damage, defects, or deficiencies must be noted on the Delivery ticket. The driver will contact Belfort Furniture Customer Service to resolve any issues.

  • In the unlikely event that our delivery professionals damage your home or property, you must report the damage in writing on the delivery ticket. Belfort will not be held responsible for any damage not reported in writing at the time of delivery.

Our truck routes are planned one day prior to your delivery. You will be contacted on the day prior to your delivery with a three hour window for the delivery team's estimated arrival to your home.

Preparing For Your Delivery:

Don't forget to measure! You'll want to measure to make sure your new furniture will fit into your home. Use our measuring guide for tips on measuring your home before completing your purchase.

We also offer a Measure To Fit Service. Our tech will come to your home and measure your space for you. A $50 deposit is required when scheduling the measure to fit service. This $50 will be credited towards your purchase. Contact us for availability of this service in your area.

  • Please make sure someone 18 years of age or older is at home to accept your delivery.

  • Make sure the truck can get as close to your home as possible. If necessary, please park your car on the street to allow our truck to get into your driveway.

  • Please restrain pets and make sure toys and other items are removed from areas where the delivery crew might walk.

  • Please make sure your walkway is shoveled during the winter months.

  • Delivery teams are not allowed to move existing furniture in your home. They also cannot set up electrical equipment.

Free Furniture Pick-Up

Customer Furniture Pick-Up At Our Warehouse/Distribution Center:

Please Follow These Steps For Your Pick-Up at Our Warehouse

  • When you arrive to our warehouse, please park at any of the designated customer pick-up parking spots.

  • Please walk into building and check in at the desk. If you prefer not to enter the building, please call us at 703-947-0853 and select option 2. You can check-in for your pick-up over the phone.

  • When your items are ready, our team will ask you to drive your car to our pick-up ramp.

  • You will be asked to sign your pick-up ticket once items are loaded in your car.

Please be aware that due to the volume of furniture pick ups each day we are unable to begin pulling and prepping your furniture for pickup until your vehicle has arrived. We appreciate your understanding.

Customer Furniture Pick-Up At Our Store:

Please schedule an appointment to pick up your in-store purchase, 703-947-0853. It is recommended that you bring help with you to assist with loading your item as we cannot guarantee a team member will be available. For larger items, we suggest that you might want to schedule delivery of your item or have it transferred to our warehouse for later pick up. We offer in-home delivery and front door delivery options. Please call our delivery office for more information on scheduling a delivery, 703-947-0853, option 2.

Furniture Pick-Up Policies

  • Furniture may be picked up at our Distribution Center, Clearance Center and showrooms.

  • Some furniture may require assembly; please see your salesperson for details.

  • Please remember to inspect your furniture thoroughly before leaving our warehouse.

  • We will assist in placing your merchandise in your vehicle, however, proper loading and securing of the product is your responsibility.

  • No damage claims will be accepted once the furniture leaves the warehouse.

Long Distance Deliveries:

If you live outside of our Belfort delivery zone, we offer White Glove Delivery via a long distance carrier.

  • Long distance delivery costs are determined by the weight of all items being delivered.

  • All furniture is received at our Distribution Center in Sterling, VA. For all Long Distance deliveries please expect longer transit times after departing our warehouse as Belfort Furniture utilizes dedicated Furniture carriers to ensure the proper handling of your purchase.

  • This White Glove Delivery service includes delivery to home, assembly and placement in your room of choice, and debris removal.

  • Long distance deliveries are subject to availability depending upon your location.

  • Long distance deliveries are custom quoted per your location and item(s). To receive a quote please e-mail us and provide your delivery zip code and all items you are interested in.
