I just moved in to Ashburn , and a friend (coworker) recommended me Belfort , and I was delighted to say that an ordinary visit turned into a a very pleasant shopping experience. I didn't really purchase much but, German Arboleda was very patience with me and my wife. I bought living room set , dinning table and a bedroom set and belfort not only offers top quality stuff, but their employees (especially German Arboleda) demonstrate a very high level customer service. One thing I can also recommend is to purchase the 5 year warranty that i think you'll always need if you have Kids.

I special ordered a dining room table and chairs from Belfort. A few days after the set was delivered, I realized that the table didn't have the finish I had ordered, so I called the customer care center. I spoke with Katherine Huffman who told me to send pictures of the table. The day after I sent pictures, Ms. Huffman advised me that the factory authorized a replacement. I'm very pleased with the quick resolution of my problem and I look forward to receiving my new table.

Bought a media unit from German Arboleda in the clearance warehouse. The unit was a one of a kind in inventory and was in perfect shape. German was extremely helpful in assisting us with completing the purchase and was patient while we checked out the rest of the available stock in other parts of the Belfort "campus". He was also helpful with guiding through the process of getting it wrapped and loaded in my truck, and the staff in that area was also very efficient and friendly. Overall - this is definitely a place to put on your radar to check out when you are shopping for anything furniture related for your home.

We bought a leather living room set from German Arboleda in the warehouse. It was a nice shopping experience. No pressure, and he was knowledgeable about the product we were looking for. The checkout, pricing, and delivery were straightforward (one piece was the floor model, two pieces were delivered from stock) and the set looks great in our living room. I would definitely recommend Belfort based on their prices alone. Good service from German was a welcome bonus too!

Avery was extremely helpful! I purchased a large umbrelled chaise through the clearance center. The price was excellent ($3500 list price - selling for $1500 at Belfort. Google searches did not find anything less expensive online). After I already had committed to the purchase, Avery noticed a pen mark on one of the cushions. He easily could have not mentioned it, or said that since it was in the clearance center, I had to take it "as is". However, he found a replacement cushion and made the swap for me. Check-out was fast and easy, and the lounger was ready for pick-up at the loading dock within a matter of minutes. The excellent service that I received from Avery brought me back to Belfort's main store across the street to do a little more shopping for bedroom furniture.

I wish I would have stopped into Belfort furniture first. I wasted much time venturing to other stores to come up fruitless. First few steps into one of the show rooms and I was greeted. I loved the fact that the salesman let me shop without hovering over me. When I had questions, they were available and were very knowledgeable about their product. Their selection is like none other and Im only referring to their showrooms not the internet. The delivery of items was fairly quick and very professional. Delivery men took extreme caution not to damage furniture nor the walls. I recommend this place to everyone.

I had my first experience shopping at Belfort Furniture yesterday and our salesperson, Betts Brown, couldn't have made it any easier. I first started dialoging with Betts via email about what I was looking for and sent her two items for pricing. She quickly answered my email and we finally met at the store yesterday. Betts was extremely knowledable about the fabrics we were looking at and gave us excellent ideas in enhancing our choice. I went to several furniture stores looking for the perfect side table to go with my leather chair. It had to be perfect. I decided to stop in at Belfort Furnitureafter work to see what they had in stock. My salesperson, Ginger Zimmerman, couldn't have been nicer, or more patient, as I spent 20 minutes describing the decor of the room where the side table will be, but also the styles I thought I would be interested in. She walked me through the different showrooms allowing to take my time and not pressuring me to buy something that I semi-liked. It is this no pressure salesmanship and genuine interest in my decor style and likes that has sent me back to see her whenever I am ready to buy or even ask advice on the direction of the decor that I am going.

My girlfriend and I were just planning on researching couches for the day but came out smiling ear to ear. We purchased a sofa, chair, and rug all with the help of Marc Rosenthal. He was very laid back but gave great feedback when needed. He was very friendly to work with and gave us ample ideas on what we could use for our home. I would recommend this gentleman to anyone coming to the Belfort facility. I also want to mention that our sofa and chair arrived in mint condition and the team that delivered them were superb. We will definitely be coming back to Belfort for future purchases. It was a great experience all around!

We loved working with Gil (Belfort Salesman) who has a great demeaner and was a low pressure salesman. He worked with us for weeks on our furniture needs and we are very pleased with his service. The furniture can take 8 - 12 weeks to be delivered, but that's pretty standard when custom ordering furniture. They need to improve their system of delivery notification. They contacted us for two different deliveries and told us they'd deliver within the times we requested and then we got a confirmation the day before for the times we said we couldn't be here. We then spent more than 40 minutes on hold with delivery to attempt to rectify it. All that said, we love our furniture.

Marc Rosenthal helped me on the phone before I came in and helped me when I arrived at Belfort. We had to walk across the parking lot to where my furniture was. He was courteous, kind and very helpful. He showed me what I was looking for and while there, noticed another table I liked more. He was very patient while I took pictures of the two pieces and sent them to a friend to see what she thought of them. I must mention also the staff at the warehouse was very helpful and opened each item to check for any damage before I took the pieces home. I will definitely go back to Belfort for any further furniture needs.

Ryan Hoffman has helped me on a number of occasions at Belfort and I have purchased from him twice. I will certainly purchase from him again. He was very patient, helpful, knowledgeable and not at all pushy. He gave me the space I needed to look around and narrow down the options but would check back in to make sure I didn't have any questions. I wasn't sure if my new home theater receiver and blue-ray player would fit in the entertainment unit I wanted to buy and thought I would have to go home to measure them. Ryan jumped online, looked up the items and got the measurements for me. Saved me a trip! Belfort offers a flat rate delivery; $85 for 1 item or for a full room of furniture. Very nice! I decided to pick up my furniture. The staff at the warehouse was very helpful and patient as I inspected the piece before I took it home. Belfort has a large selection of furniture from lots of different manufacturers. If you go, ask for Ryan Hoffman. He can be found in the Basics building but can help you in any of their buildings.

This place is so amazing with high quality furniture.My husband and I worked with an outstanding gentleman named Gil Colwell. He was fantastic. We were lucky to get him there are many sales people there. He knew so much about the products and answered every question we had. We called with some questions after our purchase and he would always return our call right away. Everything is beautiful, and I must say this was by far the best purchase of anything we have ever gotten. We will be going to Bellfort Furniture for all of our future purchases and I have been telling everyone I know that Belfort is the place to go, and Gil Colwell is a salesperson you can count on.

I can't speak highly enough regarding Gil Colwell, a design consultant with Belfort Furniture. He has gone way above and beyond a normal sales person for us. He knows his products at Belfort and is willing to help teach and guide us in making our house a home through interior design. He listens to us and works with our taste and in no way makes me feel ignorant (which I fully admit I am) with pulling it together. Belfort has very good quality of furniture, but Gil Colwell is what will keep me going back to Belfort as our house becomes our home .

Beverly Coleman was the most knowledgeable salesperson! She helped us make sure our bedroom furniture would fit in our bedroom. She was so patient with us as well as pleasant to work with, too!!! she was able to answer all of our questions. She kept us informed and followed up with us. I would recommend her highly. When our furniture was delivered, the delivery men Jonny and Hector were outstanding. They were prompt, professional and very careful. My husband and I are so pleased with our bedroom furniture. It looks perfect and fits us and our needs. The furniture was made by Stanley and the craftsmanship and quality is about the best you can find. I visited several furniture stores before settling on Belfort. My DC apartment is much larger and nicer than those I'd had in New England and NYC, so there was much to buy. From consultation (helpful when need be but never pushy) to selection (lots, though little is super-contemporary) to price (great for the quality) to delivery (prompt and professional, though expect a longer wait if you custom-order things), I was impressed. Looking for Family Room Furniture. We were very lucky to work with Val Valdez. She has great taste and an eye for color. When I told her what we were looking for, she helped us pick out some great furniture and offered up some great ideas. I have a hard time narrowing down choices and want to see everything. She helped me narrow down the choices and we ended up with some beautiful colors that really compliment each other. I would definitely recommend Val as she is easy to work with, listens to what you want, and puts together a room that is beautiful.

German Arboleda was great to work with. He guided us and did not push us. He hung in the background, readily available when needed but not intrusive. He was always there to answer questions which he did very knowledgeably. He was very informative about the products. He would not dicker but did provide a discount for cash payment vs. credit card. Unfortunately, half of our order was not in stock and had to be ordered taking up to 8 weeks. The other half will be delivered within two days of placing the order which is terrific.

Ismael, Efrain, and Danny did excellent work delivering my furniture from Belfort! I was very nervous about having the six piece bedroom set that my fiance and I ordered from Belfort delivered to our new apartment because it is on the third floor and I knew that whoever had to carry it up all those stairs might accidentally bump something. Ismael, Efrain, and Danny arrived on time the day of the delivery and were some of the more personable and professional people I have had the pleasure of doing business with. I could tell, as I watched them from the other room, that they took their work very seriously and were very conscientious about the furniture setup. Not only did they put the pieces together for a flawless finish, they did so in about 30 minutes (including the transport up all those stairs!). That level of skill is not something you see everyday! I am very grateful that I had them to deliver our furniture.

Lucy's customer service (in the kids store) was fabulous. She was very patient with me when I couldn't decide on furniture for my son, even though she had to leave for vacation. She continued to update me throughout the process as to where my shipments were. Every item we ordered was delivered on time and it looks great. I am very happy with the quality of the furniture. I gave a 4 star rating because when the delivery guys setup my son's bunk bed, they dinged our walls in several places and made no mention of it or apologized for their mistake. Overall, I would recommend Belfort to friend and family. This is the second time we've ordered from them and both times, the customer service has been exceptional.

I met a friend at Belfort to look for furniture for her rec room. She didn't find anything, but I fell in love with a bedding set and quickly found fabric for a chair and ottoman that coordinated with it beautifully. Gil Colwell made shopping at Belfort a pleasure. After checking various stores, I found that Belfort had the best prices, and I could make my purchase with confidence. I am recently divorced and on a budget. I am now a single mom, work full time and have children in sports all weekend. I ran into Belfort on a Saturday without any makeup on and picked out a table, two bedroom sets and some rugs. I was really impressed with the prices and service. A few days later I went in to finalize the deal. My salesman was not there but the new guy was helpful and actually was honest enough to split the commission with the original guy. I am super thrilled with the service, the furniture, delivery and would most likely go back there for anything else I need.

After relocating to VA I needed to furnish every room of my apartment. I visited most furniture stores in the area but kept returning to Belfort and working with Heather Wyse for a number of reasons. Belfort consistently had the largest selection of pieces across manufacturers and Heather remembered me, the styles I was looking for, and always took time to work with me at the store or answer my questions via email. After a few visits and working with Heather to narrow down the big selection, I wound up purchasing a great sectional couch, two leather storage ottomans, a full bedroom set, a server unit, and a very functional computer desk with a bookcase (I say functional because it has a built in power switching unit and a slide-out printer shelf). My suggestion to anyone looking for furniture is to go to Belfort first because there will likely not be a need to look anywhere else; and I always recommend Heather because if she was able to handle all of my questions over the months then she has the patience of saint and really knows her stuff. Also, problems are bound to arise when buying so many pieces, but when my server arrived with some manufacturing damage, Heather forwarded my concern and photos to customer service the same day and I actually had a replacement in my apartment 3 weeks later (a month earlier than the delivery estimate). A friend told me that Belfort is so popular because of their customer service but I have to admit that I didn't believe it until I saw how professionally and fast they responded to my concern. Ludmila made all the difference for me at Belfort's. Belfort's has the best selection of furniture in the area, but finding what meets your needs and your taste can be overwhelming. What was amazing to me was that Ludmila really listened and did not waste time. The furniture, the fabrics, everything I bought really transformed my home. This is my second purchase from Belfort and Marc Rosenthal - cannot say enough good about both Belfort and Marc! I was looking for a mattress and did not want to shop anywhere but Belfort. I knew I would get a good mattress to meet my needs and at a fair price. I knew I would not be pushed into a product I did not want or be sold something I did not need. We recently downsized from a single family home to a town home and needed all new furniture that fit the much smaller space. We decided to shop at Belfort because of the variety of styles and manufacturers and because Belfort offers an in-house design service. Stefani Arnold became our designer and she was not only extremely knowledgeable and professional but also endlessly patient while working with us to put together a beautiful, warm and functional living space all while working off the blueprints since the house wasn't built yet. Stefani not only guides us in the right direction, she calmed us down when panicked, was always responsive to our own ideas and was a joy to work with. Once we had moved in and the furniture was delivered, Stefani and her colleague Alissa came to our house for the finishing touches and to suggest paint colors; truly an all-inclusive service. Alissa was a tremendous help choosing the rugs and art work and had wonderful little suggestions that made big differences. I also want to compliment Ludmila, our first contact person at Belfort who steered us towards pieces that fit our style and whose enthusiasm was so infectious, what a great first impression! Wonderful Experience with a Mattress Set I previously wrote a very negative review regarding a mattress set we had that had developed gullies. The next day Befort contacted us and offered full credit on a new mattress. What a wonderful result. We couldn't be happier. The new mattress is so much better and I was impressed with Belfort's willingness to stand behind their merchandise even though it was technically not covered by the manufacturer's warranty. This is the way every business should operate.

After months of furniture shopping and feeling as though no one knew the product they were selling and just willing to sell anything we finally found our way to Belfort. Dee Ochs greeted us with a warm smile within minutes of our arrival. After a long day with 4 children under the age of 7 we explained to Dee we were looking for a leather living room set and sturdiness was a MUST. Dee gave us several options and explained each on in great detail and we finally decided on the Flexsteel Vail Sofa's, which are absolutely beautiful. What Dee offered us that no one else did was confidence in our purchase, we felt we made an educated buy. Liz Armagno proves that extraordinary, consistent customer service combined with phenomenal value is what you'll find at Belfort! This is the second time in four years I've turned to Belfort for furniture and room design needs. I was welcomed by Liz and began my quest to furnish my new home. After answering a few simple questions (likes/dislikes, prefered styles, budget, etc.), Liz led me on a personal tour of Belfort's incredible showroom. Her knowledge of available products, ability to provide analytical and comparison data, and design allowed me to quickly and affordably furnish my entire apartment! Liz knows her product and is willing to roll up her sleeves and help design a room that suits your needs not hers. She took the time to explain the theory/art of combining fabrics/patterns to create a custom look. As requested, she was not afraid to tell me my first fabric choice might not be the right one! After making my selection, she led me back to the showroom pieces of furniture and we tried out the swatch. While there, she consulted fellow sales associates and a few customers passing by to make sure the fabrics we selected were well received by others - not many consultants are willing to go that extra mile I've found. But wait it doesn't end with a "thank you for your purchase come back and see us again." Liz followed up with Email thanks, order status updates and has even consulted me on additional design ideas! She displayed encyclopedic product knowledge and was able to translate our ideas into a comprehensive design plan using the products of several manufacturers and demonstrating a knowledge of furniture construction and fabrics, and provided us with options. Belfort also has an incredibly extensive and diverse collection of furniture products to suit just about every taste. Ultimately we purchased a couch, ottoman,chair, china cabinet, and what could best be called a sideboard with shelves. When one manufacturer discontinued 2 pieces we had ordered, she went to a great deal of effort to see if she could acquire the pieces elsewhere. When unable to do so, she expended a great deal of efort and time guiding us through alternatives until we finally saw what we liked. Her patience and courtesy were exceptional. She would follow-through by e-mail on days she was off and by e-mail or phone during days on duty. Her responsiveness was always very prompt. The end result is some furnished areas of our home that have a "wow factor" commented upon by guests. We'd certainly think immediately of Dee Ochs and Belfort in the event we are looking for other items of furniture.

I recently shopped at Belfort Furniture and Toni Salazar assisted me with my purchases. Toni was awesome! I described to her the style I was trying to create in my new home and she went to work pointing our furniture and suggesting different material for the couch and headboard. She was patient and not pushy. When the couch took longer to arrive then expected, she consistently called the manufaturer to inquire about the delay and promptly kept me informed. When the couch and headboard arrived she again checked on me to make sure the delivery experience went well and the items arrived undamaged.

After shopping in Fredericksburg and Woodbridge for a new bedroom set, we went to Belfort. We were looking for REAL wood furniture and the only place we found it was at Belfort. Our design consultant, Marc Rosenthal let us look around, then pointed out the areas we really wanted to be looking in. He was very patient (my husband and I were having conflicting ideas) and answered all the questions we had with no added pressure. We left the store without purchasing that day, but after further measuring and talking about it, we decided to take the plunge. We ordered a new king size bed and nightstands. The furniture just arrived a few days ago, and we absolutely LOVE it! This is the second time I have ordered from Belfort, and have been very pleased. We stopped into Belfort, among other furniture stores, in search of a leather sectional to complete our basement home theater. We were greeted by Toni Salazar, who was wonderful in helping us come up with just the right configuration/pieces to suit the space where this was going. She warned us that the particular sectional we had chosen had a 4 month wait until it would be shipped/delivered. Toni was extremely patient with us--first when we took a month before actually placing the order to shop around a bit more and then when, (hoping we'd get lucky and it'd come in sooner) emailing and calling several times to check on the estimated date of arrival. We were so excited to have our sectional delivered just in time for the Super Bowl and it looks perfect! Of all our options in the area, Belfort had the best selection with reasonable prices and good quality, along with sales people that were respectful in providing just the right amount of help without hounding. We will definitely be back to Belfort and look for Toni's assistance when we are shopping for more furniture.

I enthusiastically recommend Toni Salazar at Belfort. She recently helped me pick out my office furniture (Hooker Brookhaven L-Shaped Desk, 2 bookcases, filing cabinet). She spent over 3 hours with me, not only helping me select the furniture but also determining its best position in my room. She plugged in all of my room dimensions into her handy software application, and put everything in a different configuration than I was thinking. She has a real design eye, and gave me the honest opinion that my original plan might make the room look too crowded. She was great at thinking outside the box. My furniture was delivered last week, and I am extremely happy with it, and it looks even better than I was imagining. If you are shopping at Belfort, I would definitely seek out Toni!! Sandy Whitaker transformed my living room! I was completely stumped as to how to decorate my formal living room-to have it flow with the rest of the house and not spend a fortune. Sandy came out to my house the same day I was introduced to her as a designer. I was hoping to write this review sooner, but I never had a chance to do so until now. I went to Belfort Furniture to do some comparison shopping on leather sectionals. My extremely knowledgeable and friendly sales person, Ginger, spent a long time showing me a wide variety of sectionals. I did not intend on making a purchase that day, but she easily sold me on a new dark leather sectional by Flexsteel. It goes perfectly in my living room! She even made the suggestion of getting two armless recliners instead of an armless chair. I loved idea of having four recliners in one sectional. The furniture was delivered in just 2 weeks! I am a very satisfied customer. Everything played out nicely. I am definitely coming back to purchase some more accent pieces in the future! Thank you both, Ginger and Belfort.

I must say I was dreading the experience because we were still trying to narrow down what look we were going for in our new house. The Belfort staff was helpful and NOT overbearing and overselling. I think it was the first time I've never felt pressured in such an environment- what a relief. We were able to get EXACTLY what we wanted (and found it within 2 hours!) with the EXACT special order fabrics that were NOT too overpriced. We were so surprised and happy to be selected as the winner of the Belfort Furniture makeover! We got to work with Patrick Geffre. We had never worked with a designer before but would recommend it for everyone. Patrick listened to what we wanted and picked out furniture, wall colors and window treatments that are not only beautiful but work with our lifestyle. He also recommended a new light fixture for the dining room that fit our budget, and that really modernizes the space. Our living room and dining room look like a showroom. I moved back to Northern Virginia and went to Belfort to look at furniture. I was very lucky to work with Ilse Wolf. What impressed me the most was that after I picked out a casual dining room table, she called me days later to say that she found another one that I might like better. She was right, it's a 100% better than the first one we picked out. After that I purchased a sofa, chair, two rugs, two sets of coffe and end tables plus a bedroom set with a matching bedside table. I'm currently working with her to find two lamps. Although we went to three different building, we haven't found the right ones but she promised me she would stay on the hunt. Soon my new house will be 100% furnished by Belfort.

Thefurniture is really nice and the prices are affordable. I was attended by a gentleman called Mark Rosenthal who was a delight to work with. Not only was he very patient with us (we had a 3 month old baby at the time in the store) but he also understood our needs and helped us getting exactly what we wanted and how we wanted it. So glad we chose Belfort when we chose to move to Virginia! We have furnished several rooms of our new home (dining room, living room, home office) with their help. We began with a terrific armoire from the clearance center - wasn't sure where we'd use it, but knew we'd enjoy it - as we were purchasing the house in the spring, with months to go before our move. We had the pleasure of working with Ryan Huffman for that selection. When we returned to the Basics store over the summer, Ryan actually recognized us and ably assisted with our living room choices. We have been doubly impressed with the Belfort sales team, as we were lucky to have had Ruth Fiallo spend a great deal of time with advice for furnishing the home office, coming up with a great combo of appearance and practicality, and working well with our budget. My plans for the dining room were a little more challenging, and again, Ruth was instrumental in bringing it all together. My husband and I did some preliiminary shopping at Belfort Furniture before moving into our new house. Our sales associate, Ginger Zimmerman, spent a dedicated amount of time with us. She was extremely patient and friendly, as well as professional. She showed us dining and bedroom pieces, and quite a few sectionals.

I am writing this review for Katherine in customer care. She is an asset to Belfort and they should feel very lucky she is there to help them keep their customers when the customer is unhappy. I bought a 3k Tommy Bahama and after the first two weeks the one of the pillows came apart at the seam. I contacted customer care and Kat was on it from the beginning she always replied quickly and kept me informed. The manufacturer (Tommy Bahama By Lexington sucks and don't buy this brand it's cheaply made and overpriced) said they had to make the pillow and the fabric is on back order, I am still waiting for this pillow and it's been about 2 months. The only reason I will ever go back to belfort was because of the effort of Kat to keep me informed and she also helped get me monetary credit back for my inconvenience, even though the manufacturer is the one screwing up. So with that said Belfort has kept my business because of her but Tommy Bahama by Lexington will never ever get another dime out of me. Thanks Kat!

We recently purchased a reclining sofa and love seat from Belfort. Our salesperson, Frank Falsetti, was quite helpful in showing a variety of styles and fabric options. The delivery team (Cris, Daniel and Rafael) were on time, courteous, professional and quick. The expected arrival date was accurate (5 weeks of an estimated 5-6 weeks). When we called to check on status after about 4 weeks, we were still told about 2 more weeks, but then we were contacted a day or two later that it arrived.

We recently purchased a sofa, rug, and two chairs from Belfort. The delivery was two weeks before the estimated delivery date. Unfortunately, due to a bizarre fluke in the warehouse, the wrong sofa was delivered. BUT the follow-up from our salesperson, Gil Colwell, was immediate and effective. The correct sofa was delivered a week later (still prior to the original estimated delivery date) and it's beautiful! Both Gil and Mindy, in Customer Care, were very pleasant to work with. Gil provided me phone and e-mail follow-ups, so I always knew what was going on. A true test of good customer service is how a company handles itself when things don't go as expected...Belfort, as represented by Gil and Mindy, passed with flying colors. Thank you!

I had unfortunate problems that kept compiling with the leather sectional we purchased here. What could have been a horrible experience was made a whole lot better, thanks to customer service rep Katherine "Kat" H. We started out with several scratches from the first day. The delivery guy said he was going to take care of it and would go to his truck and take pictures to send to customer service. Before we knew it, he had jumped in his truck and left! I immediately called cust serv. and Kat helped resolve the issue, giving a discount on the piece and assuring me that with the discount, the item would still be covered under warranty. Three months later, our leather was being punctured from the down feathers inside the cushions. Belfort agreed to have someone come out and fix the areas that were troubled. Then, to top it all off, as I was cleaning the couch with just water (as the instructions from the factory said to do) the color came off! I was beyond exasperated with this couch. We had a major lemon. I contacted Kat and she said she would see what she could do. Unfortunately, her manager saw all of the problems and decided to turn us away (because we received a slight discount from our damage from day 1), even though we were covered under warranty. Kat talked him through everything and helped him realize that we were indeed still covered. At the end of the day, she realized our frustration and the headache of waiting to get a piece fixed that wasn't right in the first place. She went ahead and allowed an exchange for the entire piece. We couldn't be happier. It is holding up well now and we are so grateful for Kat's professionalism and assistance through this whole process. I give Kat a rating 5 stars, and Belfort's management and the quality of the furniture of the first sectional about a 2. Thanks, again, Kat. I wish all customers service reps were as efficient and caring as her!

My husband and I recently moved to Virginia and needed an entertainment center and a table/chairs for our breakfast area. We were not familiar with Belfort Furniture, but when we described to a clerk in a different furniture store what we were looking for, he pointed us to Belfort Furniture. Of course we checked out the Clearance part of Belfort first hoping to find a good deal, but didn't see anything we liked. What we didn't like in the "Clearance Building" was how the salesmen swarmed upon us, following/meeting us at every turn, and this happened not just the first time, but when we returned a couple of weeks later, the same thing happened with a different salesman, who was even more intense. But when we crossed the street to the other buildings on our first visit, we were approached by Gil Colwell, who greeted us, told us to look around, and contact him when we needed assistance. He didn't pester us, and in fact, left us alone to browse the store, until we were ready for his assistance. Gil certainly made our shopping experience a pleasure. We found the "perfect" entertainment center and breakfast table/chairs, and purchased them on our first visit. The table and chairs had to be ordered, and we told Gil we needed them before Thanksgiving, due to family coming from Ohio. Unfortunately the chairs arrived on time, but the table had to be back ordered. We talked to Gil, and he said, "if you are willing to take the floor model, we will give you 10% off, and deliver it immediately. That is what we did, and we had the table a couple of days later. We then decided we needed a picture in the breakfast area to go with the table/chairs. We went to Belfort again, found Gil, and he helped us find the "perfect" picture. So to sum it up, we are extremely pleased with our purchases from Belfort Furniture, as the quality of the furniture is top notch, the selection is extremely good, and most of all, we have found a salesperson, Gil Colwell, that has been superb! Our only suggestion would be for the other Salespersons to model their sales behavior after Gil's. Don't pounce on customers and follow them through the store, just introduce yourself, tell the customer you are there to help them, then turn them loose to find what they want. I'm confident when they are ready to purchase, or have a question, they will then come to you for assistance. Gil's professionalism speaks for itself. The second visit we made to purchase the picture, we had to wait in line for Gil to help us, as he had 2 and 3 customers at a time requesting his assistance. We waited! My husband and I wanted to take some time to praise Mr. Patrick Geffre for turning a bad experience into a success story. We bought some furniture through him at Belfort Furniture with a must have delivery date as we are moving to Italy and our stuff was being sent there. Patrick went out of his way and figured out a way of pleasing us (the customer). He delivered the furniture that was on display, we got a discount, and we're getting one of the pieces mailed to Italy that wasn't in the display. David graciously and diligently helped me with a recent warranty claim that I had for a a top-of-the-line mattress that I purchased at Belfort about 4 years ago. Toni at Belfort Furniture deserves rave reviews for her expert advice designing my living room. As I was furnishing an empty room from scratch, I wanted to make sure I had professional assistance, and Toni was the ultimate professional. FIrst, she helped with the floor plan, coming out to my home to take measurements and pictures. Then she searched for pieces that would be a good fit, recommended beautiful coordinating fabrics and window treatments, and even suggested the ideal paint color for the room. Belfort's Design Assistance program is outstanding, and Toni and Alissa came to my house personally when the furniture was delivered. The accessories they suggested complemented the room perfectly - from mirrors to lamps to faux plants. It has been a delight seeing the transformation of this room and a true pleasure working with the many talented professionals at Belfort. Our Belfort Experience – The Move In. It was with great trepidation that my wife and I approached November 4. And, as it ended, it was a day that my wife and I will never forget as, due to the experience and professionalism of our Belfort design and delivery team, lead by Stefani Arnold, with the selection help of Nanci Celentano and Alissa Nelson, and now our new found heroes, the delivery men, Chris and Rafael (whom I affectionately call “Angel”), November 4 was like “heaven on earth!” Belfort was scheduled to deliver between 9:00 AM and noon, 49 pieces, including 11 area rugs. At approximately 9:45 Stefani pulled up in front of our house, (keep in mind that our address is NOT on any Garman, or Google map system yet), and no longer than 30 minutes later, I heard the distinct sound of a delivery truck pulling up. (As it turns out the slight delay for the delivery team was due to a loading decision of whether to go with one truck or two! But in the end they were able to fit the order into one tightly packed load ... It was with great trepidation that my wife and I approached November 4. However, other than ensure that everything was in its place and looked the best it could, Stefani was able to rely on the professional handling of the items by Chris and Rafael. Every item was handled delicately yet with great strength, as if it were a collectible Fabergé egg that weighed 200 pounds. Within 5 hours, (I thought it take longer, but the team worked very, very hard, and non-stop) an empty house was turned into our dream home, in need of only a few fine touches, which I am sure Stefani will come up with too! There were only a few bumps in the road – 3 that I can think of – all of which as will be noted were handled with the high standards and professionalism that we have now come to expect and cherish from our friends at Belfort. We will likely never shop at any other furniture store, as we have never experienced this level of effort from any other. Regarding the minor bumps, one of our rugs had not arrived, but full accommodation was made and the rug traced to see when it was likely to be coming. One light unit, in one bookcase (out of 6 bookcases) did not work. And last, one piece of furniture did not have “nail heads” which was not an error by Belfort or by the manufacturer, but a mistaken assumption on our part regarding the corner piece of a sectional that would be “exposed” as we had designed the layout, but not exposed as the Manufacturer planned it to be used. The first two items were brought to our attention by Stefani, and the crew, with alternate solutions already worked out and presented to us. Regarding the third, as soon as I asked about the nail heads, Stefani was on the phone working out a solution. After 35 years of management, my instant reaction was “follow through.” When you buy from Belfort, you don't just buy an item, but you get full service, and most importantly – follow through – as they care about building customer loyalty and longevity. Belfort staff work hard to earn your respect and they truly deserve it. Before the team left, my wife and I ordered two more pieces of furniture, and asked Stefani to look into and plan for outdoor pation furniture for a Spring order. We had an amazing experience at Belfort Furniture. I needed to purchase several pieces and didn't quite know what to expect given the incredible size of the store, which is spread across multiple buildings. We were so fortunate to helped by Val. She gave us incredible service and helped us navigate the very large inventory Belfort has on hand. She was extraordinarily attentive and gave us great advice. We were not surprised when she mentioned she had experience as an interior designer, she clearly knew her stuff. I recently had back surgery and was not totally mobile. Val was very patient and understanding, we honestly felt like we could take up her whole day and she would continue to search with us until we were satisfied. However, fortunately for both of us, we were able to find several amazing pieces fairly quickly. Overall, I was incredibly impressed by the customer service (thanks Val!!) and the quality and selection of the pieces there. They have a wide variety of price points, so there is likely something for everyone at this place. I know I will return for future furniture buys!

While it's a bit of a drive from DC, Belfort Furniture has a massive selection of furniture at almost every price point. I highly recommend working with Shirley Jeffcoat; her keen eye and fine taste helped a person like me (who possesses no decorating acumen whatsoever) create the perfect living room. I highly recommend Erica Lynn Krichbaum, Design Consultant, at Belfort. She helped us pick out a sectional for our family room. She even involved our 10 year old in the process. Unfortunately, when the sofa arrived it made my husband, son and myself sick from the apparant chemicals coming off the sofa. I called and they removed the sofa, free of charge, and we came back to Erica Lynn to help us pick something more "green" since unbknownst to us we have environmental allergies. I visited Belfort for the first time around May 2011 looking for furniture for my new house. I could not believe the incredible selections and value for the quality and was overwhelmed. But I had the pleasure of working with the most professional people who take customer service seriously. Kasra, the sales consultant in the warehouse; staff design consultants Erica Eisele and Elisa, who specializes in accessories. They all made me feel as if I was their only customer during the entire 3 month process of purchases, special orders and delivery. Kasra was an absolute expert and attentive to every detail of the transaction. Erica was a dream to work with.. kind, no pressure and she really listened to try to understand what I wanted. Our experience at Belfort Furniture has been top notch thanks to salesperson, Maeza Belayneh. In March 2010 we were looking for furniture for our future new home as soon to be newlyweds. We bought a casual kitchen dining set, Queen bedrooom set, and a living room set. Unfortunately, our homebuying experience fell through and Maeza was patient and kept in touch with us to see how we were coming along with figuring out our living situation. We had to delay our delivery date several times and we really appreciated how Maeza made sure we could reach her and she always promptly called us back. What a great sales/design team. Starting several weeks ago with our sales person, Nanci Celentano, in picking out potential furniture for our "under construction" retirement home, and moving on to the recommended closet/pantry designer Todd Carter, to the pièce de résistance design "team" lead by Stefani Arnold, with Alissa Nelson "on accessories and rugs, we are thoroughly pleased and excited to see how our finished home will loook as it is just perfect in the computer. The design process was, in fact fun, while being very through, We designed (or placed where we had existing items) the furniture and rugs for an entire floor (3000 square feet) of the new house. And we were pleasantly surprised to have even received an advertised rug discount which we had assumed were on existing and not special ordered items! The design team worked in perfect unison with the sales staff and were a treat to work with. There was no pressure to buy things we did not want, and in fact, we look forward to going back as we have thought of other items we want to "weave" into the design, but want to work with the team as they seemed to immediately tune in to our thought trains making proposals of things we wanted even before we voiced them. I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking to furnish and accent anything from one room to an entire house.

We spotted a Natuzzi sofa, which was lovely, and just the right color. He knew about everything on the showroom floor and what they could order and what the options were. Best of all, no pressure! The manufacturer actually made a mistake during our order but Marc was quick to fix it with the manufacturer and get our cabinet delivered to us expediently.

Amazing Customer Service, we have shopped at a lot of stores but at this store it was a great experience, at first we were just browsing and then we were appoached by this amazing sales person MEAZA ( i hope i am spelling her name correctly), she greeted us and asked we she could be of any help to us. My wife said yes and it all started there, Meaza was not at all pushy, she showed us different brands and pieces to choose from, she worked with our budget and got us stuff from all over the store, she went to the clerance and showed us items she showes us new furniture and we ended up buying a living room, dining room and one bedroom set form her, it was great customer service she worked with us on getting all the discounts she could get and best of all she let us pick what we liked rather than pushing a sale on us. if you ever go the Belfort in Sterling ask for Meaza you will not be disappointed with her service. I had a great shopping experience with Marc Rosenthal at Belfort. I really appreciated his patient, non-pushy style. He helped me find 2 area rugs for our new house. I also needed 2 matching desks. I found one desk in the accessories section of the warehouse that I really liked, but was told by a salesperson there that they couldn't get a second desk. I asked Marc about getting a second desk. He took the time to find out where the first desk had come from and when Belfort would be getting more in. Great service. We ordered a recliner, and it arrived from the supplier in the wrong color. Instead of giving me the standard response that I have to wait another 6 weeks for the correct one to come in, the warehouse staff immediately scanned their inventory, and they replaced the chair with the correct color in the next few minutes. I appreciate that they went the extra mile to search and satisfy the problem WHILE I WAS THERE, instead of just blowing me off.

Great customer service! My husband and I had a great experience shopping for a new sofa at Belfort. Our sales associate, Erica Lynn, was extremely helpful and patient. She offered great suggestions and ideas. We were moving from a larger house in Memphis, TN to a smaller condo in Arlington, VA and needed a great deal of help figuring out the best furniture choices for our new smaller space, that would still offer the same comfort we were used to. Erica Lynn helped us accomplish just that. She even offered to come in on her day off if we needed more time to think about our decision! She was able to find a leather living room set that was exactly what we were looking for. We were very please when she extended additional consideration on the discounted items. The delivery team was also very professional. They showed up right on time and even gave us a call 30 minutes prior to the delivery. They also moved our old couches out to the garage for us. We had a great experience. We ordered a number of pieces of furniture for our bedroom. Val Valdez helped us get all of the furniture to fill the room and offered decorating suggestions. The furniture came on time and was delivered without a scratch. Chuck and Freddy, the two gentlemen who delivered the furniture, were friendly, efficient and courteous--they definitely knew the furniture and how to put it together! These were the same gentlemen who delivered some furniture we ordered from Belfort a few years ago, so it was nice to see the same faces. They did a great job then, too. 2 for 2 so far and we are happy that Belfort Furniture sells furniture Made in America!!

We bought a coffee table from Belfort. It arrived with a manufacturer's defect. Belfort allowed us to keep the table until a new one arrived. They sent out a contractor to document the defect and we were soon in the system to receive a new table. The delivery people both times came within the 3 hour window that was assigned to us, were courteous and careful with our merchandise. The second table came in great condition. We're very pleased.

Our experience at Belfort was awesome! We were building an addition on our house. We took our specs, since the room was under construction, and were fortunate to meet Chris Palomo and Shirley Jeffcoat. It didn't take us long to find and furnish the whole room, and have it "placed" in the room where it would go. The furnishings actually came into the warehouse prior to completion of the room, so then we were most anxious to have our contractor finish up. The day that our furniture was to be delivered was raining heavily, and the delivery crew had to walk around the house, in the mud (due to the construction), and get the furniture into the room as the steps hadn't yet been installed. They did a fantastic job. They placed coverings on the floor, the furniture was all wrapped up, and everything was perfect when they left. We found the Staff, Chris and Shirley, to be super to work with, they made great suggestions, and our room has turned out perfectly. We love it, and when we need anything more for our home, we will surely return to Belfort and the new friends we made there.

WOW!!! Val did what no other designer could do. From our first meeting I got the sense that she really got us. She was able to take the answers from a few questions and turn them into a dream. There was no back and forth or long wait periods. Both Val and Javier took the time to work with my husband and I, and they kept up with us, our concerns and were able to make our dream a reality. They really worked hard and although we knew they were working with dozens of people, we felt like we were their only customers. During the presentation of our order I felt like I was on one of those HGTV shows. It was just that special. For the longest time we contemplated selling our house because it was just that…a house, but now it’s a home.

I discovered Belfort Furniture through a Google search and was so glad I did. I was so happy to find a store that fit my style and budget! The store is beautifully arranged, and the customer service is wonderful. I worked with design consultant Patrick Geffre. He was very knowledgeable about the furniture and was so patient with us. I walked into the store with 18 month old twin boys in tow, and he did not shy away from us at all. I ended up buying a complete bedroom set. We shopped at several furniture stores and were always so dissatisfied by the quality and style of the pieces on display. Finally, we went to Belfort and were overwhelmed by the size of their showroom. And it wasn't just that they had a lot of pieces to choose from - they were well-made, respectable brands.

We first purchased a sectional sofa. We felt no pressure and all our questions were answered. Several months later, we ordered a bedroom suite. Everything was delivered when promised. We were asked exactly how we wanted the pieces laid out in our room, and everything was assembled. When we changed our mind about where we wanted something, they delivery guys moved it without complaining or hesitating.

We'll definitely shop there again.

I had the most amazing sales person in Nanci Celentano. Not only was she very knowledgeable of all the furniture I was interested in she also help me make my final decision. Working with Nanci I felt that I had known her for years....she gives her personal touch it seems to each every customer. As I was finalizing my sale there were other customers waiting patiently for Nanci ONLY. I have never had a sales rep. follow up even after the sale was made. Usually you are just a number to most however, with Nanci you felt reassured that everything was going to be perfect as I planned it. I was asked in another survey of Belfort what they can do to improve...."HIRE" more people of Nanci character. I had recieved my furniture and Nanci was still following up to see if everything was to my satisfaction....and it was. We moved to a new house in Maryland over a year. I've been shopping for furniture for a while, but could not find what we wanted. A friend told to try Belfort Furniture. At first visit, I was overwhelmed by the large selections and do not know where to start. Then I learned they have a interior design team. I talked to interior designer Val Valdez, she sounded very enthusiasm and confident, so I decided to work with her. She visited our house, went over what we like, our budget. She took some pictures and did measurement of our rooms. She then did lots of research, put out a presentation of her design plan within two weeks. We really liked her design and selection. At the store, she spent whole weekend patiently to go over the selections, also helped us select sofa fabric, matching end table, area carpet etc. We really like her artistic taste and the flexibility to suit customer's need. She is truly exceptional.

My review below is for Val Valdez, Interior Designer, Belfort Furniture. I highly recommend Val without reservation.

My experience with Belfort Furniture, particularly Interior Designer Val Valdez, was exceptional. Upon moving to the DC area in early 2011, I visited many furniture stores and met with many interior professionals in search of furniture for my new condo. After researching Belfort's interior design program, I called to speak with a designer, and happened to get Val on the line. After nearly one minute of speaking with her on the phone, I knew I wanted to work with Val. Her enthusiasm and knowledge was apparent, and I sensed an energy about her that made me realize she would be great to work with. I told Val that I needed help pulling my ideas together in selecting a full bedroom, kitchen, and living room furniture set. I told Val I wanted my new place to look like a design found in a magazine. I also told Val that I was on a very tight budget. She came through, undoubtedly, and I can't recommend Val highly enough.

Val assured me that "You will like it," referring to the design she put together, and she was absolutely right. Val put my ideas into action and designed a complete floorplan in less than one week. I was very impressed with the design she created; after all, she only had the condo dimensions and a few ideas for color, theme, etc.. Val put together an impressive presentation that displayed the furniture pieces and accessories of which are now in my new home. I was extremely impressed by her thoroughness and creativity, but I was also impressed with her energy and passion for her work. Buying and designing a new home is and should be an exciting and rewarding project, and Val definitely made my furniture-buying experience an enjoyable one.

I have received many compliments about my new "hip" home. I would not have such an awesome place without the incredible work and design effort my Val Valdez. You won't find better a better designer than Val.

What a great experience we had at Belfort! We just sort of stumbled the warehouse/showroom in our hunt for a new dresser. We had hit up a lot of furniture stores across Northern Virginia, but when we walked into Belfort, we got an immediate good feeling. The floor was laid out really well and the different collections were easy to navigate. The quality of the furniture seemed to be a step up from many of the other stores.

We started in the Basics area which has two levels. We also went across the street to their large gallery of furniture stores. We found the prices across the street to be a little steeper than we were looking for, but the prices in the main Basics showroom were right in line with other places.

We found a few things that we were considering and then we were told to check out the clearance area. Holy cow, what a GIANT clearance area! We couldn't believe how many items were available and the prices were slashed, sometimes drastically. We picked out a beautiful and very unique dresser that had been marked down from an original price of $1800 down to $700, then they took an additional 10% off for a Memorial Day sale. The dresser was delivered a few days later and we love it!

We would definitely return to Belfort!

Belfort has been a wonderful experience both recently and in the past. We just had some water issues at home, and I was without a bed set or furniture. I called to get some information, and the gentleman who assisted me gave my information to Toni who I would see that afternoon. I explained to Toni my situation, and that it was going to be play by ear as far as delivery and payment (due to the insurance). Toni helped me get what I wanted, and get it delivered when I needed. The reason I went to Belfort when this happened is because back in 1994 while living with my parents, we had a house fire. We replaced our furniture then using Belfort, and it was great experience. The bed that I recently replaced was 17 years old and like new! They sell quality furniture, and have people who can help.

I absolutely love this place, I have bought several large pieces here, including my couch and chair, and more recently a new bedroom set. After a protracted search for a couch this was the first place I looked and the place where I finally purchased. They have an excellent selection of pieces at different price points, so if you are or aren't on a budget you're likely to find something, and if you can't find quite what you are looking for they can always order pieces.

The staff there are friendly, and eager to help but not overly pushy either. Delivery has always been prompt and they give you a reasonable time window that they show up in.

We have never had fun buying furniture--until now. Whenever we walk into a furniture store, we always seem to attract the salesperson who 1) is the LEAST familiar with the stock they carry; or 2) will not listen to what we need. What a pleasure to find Marc Rosenthal at Belfort Furniture! I told him what we needed (couch and chair) and what our limitations are (small room, I'm 5 foot 1, my husband is 6 foot 3). Marc toured me around Belfort's extensive showrooms efficiently and congenially, showing me only what I had asked to see. What a relief!

When I brought my husband back later, we had a frame of reference and a salesperson who not only knew his stock cold, but who could explain the construction of the pieces in which we were interested. Besides that, Marc made it fun with his comfortable sense of humor and a complete lack of pressure. We bought an upholstered couch with Queen fold-out bed, adding a contrasting welt on the cushions (choice of about 50 fabrics for the couch), two small matching ottomans, a leather chair, and 2 end tables for about $4,200 including a protection package, tax and delivery. We are very satisfied that this furniture will last us a long time. Selection at Belfort covers quite a range and one could easily spend considerably more or considerably less and be, I think, just as satisfied as we are.

I went to Belfort to look for a sofa and love seat. My salesman was Marc and he was great. Marc was everything you would hope for in a salesperson. He was helpful, patient and was not pushy. He helped me find the pieces I was looking for and we changed fabrics too! He explained everything thoroughly from financing to delivery. After reading some of the negative reviews, I believe that the salesperson makes the difference. I will continue to shop at Belfort as long as Marc is my salesperson. The store was absolutely honest with their mail advertisements, no bait and catch kind of business at all. The sales folks were cordial and less pushy and they gave us ample time to browse through the store before even marketing them. Furniture designs are comparable to high end stores and prices target all income levels. Our Saleswoman was ILSE and her knowledge is quite impressive when it comes to furniture trends.( keep in my I shopped over 4 different stores in Sterling,VA before landing here) . Other best things about the store offerings are flat delivery charges, Store creditable Protection plan( if unused) and possible next day delivery for most of the furniture(atleast in my case where I ordered bedroom and living room furniture).

Valeria (Val) Valdez is incredibly knowledgeable about the store's inventory, interior design, interior design software, and customer service. I am now moving into and decorating my first place, so I arrived at the store overwhelmed and clueless. She put me at ease immediately, and, without being the least bit pushy, she helped me determine what my style is, and, based on that, what my choices were. She told me about interior design software I didn't know existed, and offered to use it (at no charge) to show me sample furniture layouts based on the dimensions of my place. I was particularly impressed with how thorough she was in her planning, for example showing me several setups while keeping in mind where lighting could be plugged in without wires being strewn across the floor, etc. I strongly encourage you to ask for ... knowledgeable about the store's inventory, interior design, interior design software, and customer service.

Great experience! Ordered a bedroom set through Liz Armagno. She was great at helping me find something I like and was REALLY patient (spent a long time with me). The delivery team, headed by Jose, was here well within the time window, was very efficient and friendly and set everything up just right. I've made three major purchases from Belfort in the last two years, the latest one was home office furniture delivered in January. I love this store and the service! I have a fantastic sales rep that I found on my first visit and have kept going back to her each time--Liz Armagno. She does a great job of following up before and after my deliveries. This last time, after my desk was delivered I noticed a problem with it and contacted her immediately. They sent someone out to take a look and then brought us back a new desk. Liz was on top of it and was a big help in making this happen. I'll be another repeat customer again soon!

I saw that Belfort had more 5 star ratings than anyone else, Could this be true or are they rating themselves, So needing a new mattress we decided to visit, and guess what, IT'S TRUE, I spoke to a Manager called Nik, He was funny, informative and listened, within 5 minutes we arrived at a Mattress we liked, Nik told us to lay on it for a while to see if we still liked it, We did and now we have our Sterns and Foster mattress and are sleeping good, Now I am giving a review, Belfort is the best, but don't take my word for it, go and see

After hitting seemingly every store in the Mid-Atlantic w/little luck we made the 45 minute drive from our home. We were surprised by the size of their campus w/ multiple showrooms. When we entered their design gallery we were already rather tired from looking & we were quickly pleasantly greeted by Marc Rosenthal (whom we later learned was the floor manager). Marc had a very candid, genuine & professional approach. He politely asked us a few key questions so he could provide us with more effective & efficient guidance. Instead of trying to show us the whole store, he thougtfully listened to us & then quickly proceeded to show us some furniture groups that he felt best fit our needs.

I came here with my mother and was surprised to find well known furniture brands at great prices. I ordered a custom Bernhardt queen size upholstered bed. I went to a high end department store that carried the same Bernhardt bed for almost an extra $500, so I went ahead and bought it from Belfort. I was told that the bed would come in 8-12 weeks but it came in 4 weeks. My sales person, Amy, was very attentive and quickly returned my calls. But I do warn that they really do stand by their rescheduling fee (must call at least 48 hrs of delivery, if not you will be charged another delivery fee $115+). The two delivery guys were nice and set up my bed in 10 minutes. Overall great experience.

Ask for Marc - I have purchased several pieces of furniture from Belfort and Marc has always been very helpful. Responds quickly to phone messages and is quick to get my orders in. I have been really happy with Belfort and the quality of the furniture. Most of the pieces that I had selected were not available in the show room so I had to go on a leap of faith and Marc's recommendation and opinion. I was impressed and very pleased when I received them. They sell only high quality furniture and I highly recommend them.

Ask for Marc Rosenthal -- from the start my husband and I both independently felt he was exactly the kind of salesperson you wished were the rule instead of the exception - informed and knowledgeable and experienced, but even more important (to us), he was a man of integrity and honesty and complete straightforwardness, intelligent and extremely laid-back without a sign of losing patience (and we asked a LOT of detailed questions and visited with him at least 3 times before making a final decision). I went in to Belfort about one week ago, and I was pretty upset about this whole mattress buying experience, after dealing with these mattress giant, mattress firm sales personnel, with their pushy sales tactics. So as I walked into the last mattress hell hole on my journey down the road to find the perfect mattress for myself, I prepared myself to kill the sales person if they came at me the wrong way, but to my relief I had the best buying experience one could ever image. The Manager Nick Daniels took the time to explain the differences and benefits to a new sleep system. It was with his help I was able to make an educated purchase that fit my needs and wallet. It was refreshing to know that this company trains there sales staff and truly values their customers.

We bought a couch, bed, and dining table set here (on separate occasions), and I have no complaints. The selection is large enough among all the separate parts of the Belfort complex that even we, picky as we are about furniture, found things we liked. The furniture was delivered within a week, when they said it would be. The delivery guys were professional each time, put the furniture together where necessary, and spoke enough English to communicate with me, unlike some places.

Heather Wyse is by far the best sales associate that I have ever worked with at ANY Furniture store! She not only helped with selection of our sofa and dining hutch but she was very helpful with deciding what style/fabric would go best with our decor. I brough in several pillows and pictures of our current place and her suggestions worked out perfect in our house. Our sofa also had a defect when it arrived and Heather was very helpful in contacting the company and getting a new sofa ordered ASAP. Best thing is that we were able to keep the sofa until our new one was delivered. She is very friendly and you can tell she loves her job and is commited to helping her customers find the perfect peices for their homes. She never rushed me and was there everytime I needed an opinion. She followed up with many calls with the order status, when the item arrieved at their store and to set up delivery times.

I bought a sectional coach from Belfort furniture and after it arrived I noticed the cushions were sagging. I called Belfort and they sent out a technician to assess the situation. John came to my house, took pictures of the couch and made sure the appropriate materials were ordered. John was very professional and thorough. Furniture was exactly as expected. Originally delivery was schedule for a Wednesday, but we found out we would be home the Friday *before* (6 days earlier) and asked if it could be changed to Friday delivery. It was no problem, guys showed up on time and did a nice job. Highly recommend! (Furniture was not cheap, but you get what you pay for.)

We were looking for a solid bedroom set and went to about 6 area stores before finding Belfort. Liz Armagno was great throughout the process. The home measurement service was an excellent idea - there was no way the first set we chose was going to fit! Liz helped us select another, ensured that the pieces would fit and in less than a week, a careful and hardworking team (Juan & Xian) delivered all of the pieces except the bed which they brought a month later. We love the furniture and would definitely go back to Belfort. Thanks Liz!

He is fabulous designer! I gave Jay the dimensions of my family room, told him the type of style we liked and he went to work helping select a sofa, chairs and tables. Jay knows his textiles, so picking out fabrics was a pleasurable experience. That part is usually frustrating for me b/c there are too many choices! Jay knows his inventory and was a pleasure to work with on this project. I will definitely be doing business with him and Belfort again. Best part is that my chairs were nearly half price and I got a great deal on my leather sofa.

We looked for ages for the right couch, and we should have started here. The saleswoman showed us a slew of couches that were not only great looking, but the right style, AND in our price range! She even helped distract our toddler when he became unruly, brought him balloons, etc... he loved it, and we couldn't agree more! We have shopped for furniture at several furniture stores since moving to Virginia and I think finally we have met a design consultant who listens to what we are interested in and is willing to show us merchandise suited to our tastes. Sandy Whittaker is fantastic to work with! She knows her products throughout the various showrooms. Sandy found the right balance of taking time with us and not wasting time-- her's or ours. Very personable and not pushy. We are looking forward to working with Sandy again soon to assist us with potential purchases. I think/hope I have found an interior design consultant who I can relate to--and that feels great--and hopefully our home decorating will come together with her assistance.

Thanks to Sandra Whittaker I was lucky enough to have Sandra Whittaker take the time to help me design a beautiful, contemporary living room. I originally went in with a different color scheme and Sandy worked with me on it. I went home to think about it and measure a few things, came back the next day, and discussed colors a bit more with Sandy and got a different--but way better--color scheme. Sandy also knew the products so well that she pointed me to end tables and lamps in other areas of the store. It was a fun experience.

We bought home office furniture with which we are very pleased. After the deliver people left, we noticed a broken shelf in the hutch. We called Customer Service and they promptly handled the matter to our full satisfaction. They agreed to a store credit since we decided the hutch would not suit our needs. The deliver men came for the hutch very promptly; they were very respectful. Now we have a love sofa table/credenza to match our office furniture!

The display floor is nicely furnished and we found what we were searching for....and we did do some searching... Delivery was on time and they guys were careful and considerate. It took us a few visits to many furniture stores to locate and purchase a new family room sectional that was priced right and still a good quality. We found that and more at Belfort. Our no pressure sales person Donald Beck was very helpful with our fabric selection for the sectional and even suggested a coffee table that looks great. My husband and I went to Belfort and met Pam Uleman. We spoke with her, looked around and decided after visiting other furniture stores to return to Belfort because of Pam. She was extremely knowledgeable on a variety of products, not just what they have in the store, which is extensive, but also what various manufacturer's offer in their productline. We were looking specifically for a large, 80" round, medium woodtone, dining room set. Pam helped us locate the Stanley table and China cabinet and then was able to match another manufacturer's chair to the set perfectly. We had some service issues but Jerome took prompt and professional care of all our requests. We would highly recommend Pam as a design consultant for any furniture purchases. We also purchased office furniture, office chairs, living room furniture and will be back for family room furniture because of Pam. It's important to note that their prices are competitive, they deliver when they say they will, they call in advance and Jerome in customer service does the follow-up work as well. Belfort is lucky to have such great employees, The McGuire Family.

My husband and I are building our new home and a friend recommended that we visit Belfort's custom design studio. I have been overwhelmed in trying to put together the perfect dining room set and master suite. We were so lucky to randomly walk into Hamza Ghanimeh. Within 5 minutes he knew exactly what i was envisioning and helped us put together the most beautiful dining set. From the fabric, to the leg detail, to the antique nail finish on the chairs.. everything is just so amazing and it would not have come together without his help. I was also looking for a giant leaner mirror for the master suite and i could not find the piece i wanted for less than 1200. I found (well Hamza found) the perfect leaner mirror and it was ONLY 469!!! I also love the master suite that we picked out! We have lots of rooms to fill up and can't wait to come back to get our window treatments, rugs, and more furniture. My favorite part of the whole experience.... I can get everything i need at BELFORT. I had no idea they did rugs, mattresses, and window treatments!!! So happy!

I have purchased from Belfort Furniture for over 7 years. I have purchased a significant amount of furniture for several homes. I work with Ruth Fiallo. She is a great professional and has always found me the "perfect" items. She stayed late on many occasions and has gone out of her way to provide us outstanding service. Our deliveries have been within the window of time promised and often have been on the earlier side of the delivery window. We have had a few issues with items delivered and Ruth, as well as, Belfort management have worked with me to address the issues to my satisfaction. Stefani came out to my home and met with me for over 2 hours, taking pictures and measuring. The plan that she came up with with Alissa helping on rugs and Katy on window treatments is outstanding. My home is designed with beautiful but practical furniture and fixtures. I couldn't ask for a better experience.
