2015 Home Makeover Contest Winner: Fall Tones

Inspired by autumn, Belfort’s Design Team brought fashion and function to a unique space at the front of this home. The 2015 Home Makeover Winners were looking to maximize seating for family functions and unite three spaces in the front of their home. With their existing paint color, deep grey-blue by Sherwin Williams, the Belfort Design Team created a room that fit the clients’ needs.

The space is anchored with a beautiful Huntington House sofa. The pillows highlight the golds, blues, and browns in the space. Adding in the clients’ passion for wedding invitations, the designers incorporated a beautiful calligraphy fabric by Sam Moore for one of the accent chairs. A contrasting Craftmaster chair was customized in a turquoise geometric fabric to create more interest and complement the scale of the furniture layout.

Uniting the space with darker wood tones, the Bernhardt Haven end tables and coffee table helped to pull the entire room together. To help the beautiful windows ‘pop’ in this space and accentuate the clients’ love of fall tones, draperies in a textural yellow fabric were custom made.
