Crafted of Dutch white cedar solids with veneers of Dutch white cedar and ash burl, European Farmhouse features four distinct finishes: Terrain, a rich, hand-waxed coffee tone with artisan-like distressing; Blond, a natural, close-to-the-wood matte finish with a cream-colored accent glaze; Temps, an artistic blend of French grey and cream; and Chalkboard, a sophisticated dusty-black. The distressed feel to all these finishes increases the splendor that perhaps these pieces were part of an artist’s loft in the 18th century, displayed in a chateau, or happened upon in a flea market.
